This program will help ʻōpio go from idea to being pitch-ready for investors and supporters at the rate that is best for them. Makaha Community Center is partnering with Waianae Assembly of God to collect donations of food, clothing, furniture, appliances, and household items to distribution to others. We also support local Department of Education school incentive programs in the Nanakuli-Waianae complex to help promote academics and attendance. The Center is a research organization affiliated with the University of Hawaii at Manoa with facilities located in Kakaako. Conducts cancer research, education and improving patient care. The University of Hawaii Cancer Center collaborates with many local hospitals to conduct and support clinical trials, or studies of newer treatments.

Chore Service provides services to maintain the home as a clean, sanitary and safe environment in order to ensure the participant’s health and welfare. Community Learning Services, Individual supports participant’s integration in the community. Personal Assistance/Habilitation includes a range of assistance or habilitative training services provided in the participant’s own home or family home to enable a participant to acquire, retain and/or improve skills related to living in his/her home. Training and Consultation assist unpaid caregivers, paid service supervisors and/or paid support staff in implementing the goals and outcomes developed from the person-centered planning process included in the Individualized Service Plan. RCH started its Developmental Disabilities Domiciliary Homes program in 1977. The homes were built by RCH with funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The homes are licensed and monitored by the State Department of Health. Currently, RCH operates two domiciliary homes with a capacity of housing and providing services for up to four residents in each home. The homes are managed by Domiciliary Home Managers who provide a family environment and support the residents in developing their independent daily living skills through integration in the community. The program consists of a highly structured skill developmental training program focused on personal care, social integration, and systematic positive behavior changes. The program is complemented with a day activity program and transportation services.

The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. (St Francis Preschool) We provide a nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow socially, morally, spiritually, intellectually, and physically, surrounded by positive Catholic values. Our curriculum combines various Montessori teaching principles and materials with “traditional” preschool methods that include teacher-directed, theme-based lessons and creative play. St. Francis Preschool is one of the programs housed at the St. Francis Intergenerational Center in Ewa. This creates opportunities for the young and young-at-heart to share in life-learning experiences together. E-nable does not sell these devices - but instead - encourages parents and individuals to create them on their own, guides them in the building process and prints parts for those that need them. The designers at E-nable offer their assistance and design skills at no cost to aid those that would like to DIY (do it yourself) one of these devices and has numerous members that are willing to take on individual cases to help custom design around different shaped hands or needs.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a gym. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, games and sports, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. HHHRC offers ongoing, free, non-judgmental wound care services in our office and in a street-based setting.
