Immigration and Refugee Services helps with documentation, housing assistance, food, etc. There is current agency recognition and staff accreditation by the Board of Immigration Appeals of the Department of Justice. Pacific Gateway Center's Immigration and Refugee Services helps with case management for pre-immigration through arrival. Newly-arrived Ukrainian families are welcome to call us for consultation on legal immigration and social services.

(SFHV, Strong Families Home Visits) This program provides comprehensive and culturally appropriate professional and paraprofessional home visitation services to families with children ages birth to 3 years old. Program participants are referred by Child Welfare Services, Voluntary Case Management, or Family Strengthening Services programs. Service interventions reduce child abuse and neglect risks, increase family self-sufficiency, address family stressors, and improve child adjustment and achievement. Domestic Violence Services for Families offers a full spectrum of individual, group and family services to men, women and children to aid in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence in families and to strengthen child resilience and overall wellbeing. Service that are available include: -A Comprehensive Basic Assessment including a Trauma Assessment as needed -Risk Assessment -Crisis Management -Safety Planning -Development of a Comprehensive Service Plan -Individual, group and/or family counseling and support for each referred family member -Supervised visitation/exchanges and/or therapeutic visitation -Support Services and outreach which may include but are not limited to case management, resource linkages, domestic violence advocacy, temporary restraining order support, and in-home visits to educated about parenting and life skills

The Relocation Program provides services to inbound and outbound soldiers and family members about resources that are needed to make informed decisions and to reduce problems that occur due to frequent moves. Services include relocation planning, pre-arrival information, welcome packet, newcomer's orientation, island tour and immigration informational workshops. Additionally, a lending closet is available with basic household items which are loaned at no charge to soldiers and family members in transition.

Enforcement and licensing of all liquor licensees in the City & County of Honolulu, island of Oahu. (Note: We do not have jurisdiction on military bases.) Hearings are usually held every Thursday at 4:00 pm, for our Commissioners to rule on the following, including but not limited to: preliminary and public hearings to approve/deny new license applicants, temporary extensions, renovations, special licenses, and violations of the liquor rules and or laws.

(K9 Kokua) K9 Kokua provides direct outreach to dogs of the houseless on Oahu and Maui, persons affected by domestic violence, including kupuna and veterans facing hardship. Services include veterian care resources, wellness checks for dogs, owner education, assistance through housing transitions. Fostering available for person affected by dometic violence. K9 Kokua is an all volunteer agency. Volunteers are accepted for everything from writing thank you cards to direct outreach services.

Analyzes soil and plant tissue, diagnoses plant diseases, identifies insects, and analyzes feed. Assists with crop recommendations. Provides information and recommendations on backyard and garden weeds. Provides plant insect control advice. Accepts reports of plant disease problems.

(Sex Abuse Treatment Services) Provides comprehensive services for families and individuals who have experienced sexual abuse within the family. Services are provided to child and adult victims, non-offending partners, alleged juvenile and adult offenders, and siblings. Treatment is provided through individual, dyad, family therapy and an extensive group program. The various components of the program are designed to reinforce each other for more comprehensive treatment. Provides group counseling, individual counseling, mother-daughter counseling, couples counseling, and family counseling services for victims of incest, their siblings, non-offending parents, and offenders.

(LITFP) The Low Income Transit Fare Program (LITFP) provides a discounted transit fare for income qualifying individuals. Applications accepted on a first come, first served basis. The LITFP program runs on the City and County of Honolulu's fiscal year (July 1st-June 30th), so clients will need to reapply ever fiscal year. The HOLO card may be prepaid or reloaded on a monthly basis. Do no apply if you a person with Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Regulates the manufacture, importation, sale and consumption of intoxicating liquors. Oversees liquor license applications. Hears and determines all complaints regarding violations of the liquor control laws of the state, or complaints regarding violations of rules and regulations established by the Liquor Commission. Imposes fines or punishment as may be provided by law. Adopts rules and regulations which have the effect of laws in the county. Enforces the provisions of the liquor laws. Grants, renews or refuses applications for liquor licenses. After an establishment has a liquor license, Commission investigators make periodic checks at the establishment. The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance.
