Provides required education to qualify for a hunting license. Administers written exam. Course includes firearms safety, first aid, survival rules, conservation and wildlife identification.

Offers career and employment counseling. Provides career planning and employment preparation. Offers work experience referrals and career and employment workshop activities.

Inspects and tests scales, gas pumps, taxi meters and packages for accurate measurement. Eliminates fraud, misrepresentation and carelessness in quantitative transactions. Investigates complaints. Enforces regulations relative to measuring devices, packages and labels.

Inspects and certifies imported and exported horticultural materials, non-domestic animals. Issues permit for import and export of these subjects.

(HMSA) Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) Centers and offices offer in-person customer service to members and employers with an HMSA health plan as well as individuals who are looking to enroll in an HMSA plan. Offers medical, dental, vision, and drug health care plans to individuals and employers. Plan options include fee-for-service, preferred provider organization, health maintenance organization and plans for students, self-employed and Medicare supplement.

(HIHR) Provides Transitional Housing Program, Permanent Supportive Housing Program, Kitchen and Pantry Food Service Programs for the homeless. Provides assistance especially those with mental illnesses, substance abuse disorders, dual diagnosis, physical health and other disabilities, prioritizing the chronically homeless. Program helps achieve specific goals that includes but is not limited to obtaining and maintaining Transitional Housing, Supportive Permanent Housing and long-term Permanent Housing and will continue to provide Housing Services with Evidence-Based and Low-Barrier Service Models, as well as Coordinated Data Entry System utilizing (VI-SPDAT) and the Housing First Model Approached. Case Manager/Care Coordinator coordinates resources and community-based programs that helps with housing and other needs they may have. Maintains bi-weekly meetings to process and follow-up activities, conducts team meetings with providers including probation officers, mental health, substance abuse and medical.

PATCH, Hawaii's Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, supports those with childcare needs. PATCH provides referrals to licensed child care across the state, information on how to identify and choose quality child care, and resources to support the family, such as subsidy programs and services available in the community. In addition, the Child Care Recruitment Project offers support and guidance to individuals who are interested in opening their own childcare business. (Hele on Kakoo Paratransit Services) Hawai'i County Mass Transit Agency (MTA) offers Hele-On Kako'o Paratransit services to complement its current Intra-Hilo and Intra-Kona fixed route bus system. It is an advanced reservation, origin to destination service for persons with a disability who are unable to use the regular fixed Hele-On bus service.

ESH recognizes the value employment has in achieving acceptance and living independent and fulfilling lives. ESH Employment Services provides exceptional, individualized services that support community integration through competitive employment. In collaborating with the Job Seeker, ESH develops an Individual Plan which will identify employment goals, activities and objectives. To implement best practices and person -centered planning, ESH uses a "Discovery Process" and "Customized Employment" model. Staff provides care coordination, information and referral, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and networking with others in the community who have the resources and knowledge to assist in meeting the needs of the association's consumers and their families.
