A variety of cultural clubs meet weekly. Opportunities for community service, obtaining new skills, health improvement, continuing education for seniors and access to other services.

(EFNEP) Assists families with limited income to plan low-cost, simple, healthy meals. Teaches families to shop wisely, stretch their dollars and resources, and keep foods safe. Meets with homemakers in small groups or individually in the family's home or at community sites.

(Identity Theft Report, Reporting Identity Theft, Stolen Identity) An Identity Theft Report gives you some important rights that can help you recover from the theft. To create one, file a complaint with the FTC and print your Identity Theft Affidavit. Use that to file a police report and create your Identity Theft Report. An Identity Theft Report will help you deal with credit reporting companies, debt collectors, and businesses that gave the identity thief credit or opened new accounts in your name. You can use the Report to: -get fraudulent information removed from your credit report -stop a company from collecting debts that result from identity theft, or from selling the debt to another company for collection -place an extended fraud alert on your credit report -get information from companies about accounts the identity thief opened or misused

(Youth Build Honolulu) Provides an educational and job training program that prepares its participants for responsible citizenship. Participants are non-high school graduates, 16-24 years of age, with personal histories filled with alcohol and drug abuse, criminal activities, and limited financial resources. Is the last chance for individuals to earn a high school diploma and develop skills to prevent future incarceration, drug addiction, teen pregnancy, and long-term unemployment.

(Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi) We provide disease prevention and health promotion services through advocacy, accessibility, and education. We offer Case Management Services (such as home visits to conduct blood pressure checks, glucose checks, assistance with applications for medical insurance), and referrals to other health-related agencies. We also provide Health Education (Diabetes, Hypertension, Nutrition, and Tobacco Cessation), Traditional Healing Workshops and Classes, as well as one-to-one services by referral. Specialty Transportation provided to medical-related appointments (based on needs and availability)- for individuals restricted to a wheelchair or gurney.

(The Dalmatian Dreams Foundation) The Dream Foundation is a dream-granting organization for terminally-ill adults who fulfills final Dreams that provide inspiration, comfort and closure at the end of life.

(Hilo Womens Health Center) Annual wellness exams, primary care, breast cancer and breast concerns, menstrual problems, PMS and PMDD, depression, peri and post menopausal concerns, hormonal concerns, osteoporosis, chronic pelvic pain, urinary incontinence/leakage, urinary tract infections, bladder symptoms, sexually transmitted diseases, vaginitis, routine cancer screenings and information on cardiovascular disease prevention, and counseling services for contraception, preconception/pre-pregnancy concerns and breastfeeding for women with medical concerns.

Provides outpatient individual, family and group counseling, psychiatric care, and chemical dependency treatment services. Early Head Start (EHS) provides comprehensive services for families prenatal until the child is 3 years old. Maui Famiy Support Services (MFSS EHS) promotes early childhood education and development by using evidence based curriculum that promotes healthy development and "school readiness" goals. MFSS EHS program focused on family strengths while building and sustaining goals to promote healthy living. MFSS EHS provides both center based option and also weekly Home Visiting services. All Early Head Start services are free of charge for families who meet the eligibility criteria.

The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA Hawaii) provides year-round education and workforce training through its Construction Training Center of the Pacific. Our programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of Hawaii’s construction industry, offering practical, certification-based training for both new entrants and experienced professionals. Current offerings include: OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 construction safety training; CPR, First Aid, and AED (in-person and hybrid options); Forklift, Aerial Lift, and Equipment Operation; Supervisor Leadership Training; Specialized safety courses including Fall Protection, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Silica Awareness, and more; NAHB courses in estimating, scheduling, marketing, business management, and risk mitigation; USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management training. Courses are taught by certified instructors with direct jobsite experience. This ensures that training is grounded in real-world applications and meets industry standards. Regulates the manufacture, importation, sale and consumption of intoxicating liquors. Oversees liquor license applications. Hears and determines all complaints regarding violations of the liquor control laws of the state, or complaints regarding violations of rules and regulations established by the Liquor Commission. Imposes fines or punishment as may be provided by law. Adopts rules and regulations which have the effect of laws in the county. Enforces the provisions of the liquor laws. Grants, renews or refuses applications for liquor licenses. After an establishment has a liquor license, Commission investigators make periodic checks at the establishment. Youth Entrepreneurship Program - This program is open to youth ages 15-24 who have an interest in entrepreneurship, exploring career opportunities and expanding their general skills.
