This school is an alternative learning center for the DOE Central District's most severely "alienated" youth, providing training in basic skills areas. GED preparation is also available in the evenings to both youth and adults.

(VASH - Kauai) Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii (VASH) provides supportive services to meet the immediate and urgent needs of visitors to Hawaii Island who are victimized by crime, have medical emergencies, or suffer other adversities during their stay. Immediate needs may include assistance with canceling credit cards, providing emergency transportation, or garnering resources (soliciting donations) for food and lodging. VASH relies heavily on donations and community support. When needed resources are not readily available, we will make requests and network with other agencies to try and meet needs.

(Transitional Family Homes) Provides a temporary out-of-home placement living environment for youths, ages 12 years old to 22 years old, that require additional resources to accommodate their emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. Together, the staff and foster families provide youths with a system of support, counseling and skill building services. This service offers youth the opportunity to live with a trained transitional family who provides them with support and guidance. Services are offered to each youth based on their individual needs. Youths are provided with individual counseling and family counseling with the ultimate goal of reunification with their family.

(Customer Service) Kaiser Foundation Health Plan provides a member services number to call regarding Kaiser health insurance coverage and plans. All Kaiser plan members affected by the Kona Low on March 2026 can call to get help with replacement of medications, etc.

(MOCA) Mentally Overcoming Challenges and Adversity (MOCA) is a safe space for all youth ages 12 years old - 24 years old to talk about mental health challenges and get help locating resources in their community. MOCA provides youth and young adults with: 24/7 access to support and resource referrals, non-judgmental and anonymous support via trained staff, and connection to nationwide resources, including mental health support, and services.
