Maui Strong
The Maui Strong program delivers bagged groceries and essential supplies to kupuna who were displaced or otherwise impacted by the Maui wildfires. Deliveries are made directly to their homes by volunteer drivers. For safety and privacy, drivers do not enter the kupuna’s homes. In addition to home deliveries, the program provides care navigation services to help connect kupuna with resources and support. We also offer transportation services for those who need transportation to medical appointments or essential errands.

Waipahu District Park/Gym/Pool

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, outdoor tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, swimming pool, boxing gym, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring, and summer. Activities are geared for all age, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music and dance, seasonal activities, excursions and swimming. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Concert Series
Chamber Music Hawaii's concert series spans from September through May of each year, showcasing our resident chamber ensembles in premiere concert venues on Oahu. Each season features monthly programs performed in Honolulu and on the Windward side of Oahu. Our season subscription series concerts are free for all students with a valid school ID.

Music Therapy

Sounding Joy's Direct Services include music therapy consultation, assessment, treatment planning, evaluation, and individual/group sessions conducted by Board Certified Music Therapists (MT-BC's). Music therapy sessions can be offered either individually or in group, according to the client's needs.

Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (HSCADV) is a coalition of organizations that serve survivors of domestic violence and their families. We provide education and training on domestic violence to service providers, community partners, and businesses, and develop resource for advocates and the community. We engage in public policy to improve survivor safety. We do not provide domestic violence services directly, but make referrals to appropriate agencies.

Hawaii Relief Program (MEO)

(Hawaii Relief Program) Maui Economic Opportunity has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including:
-Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month)
-One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000)
-Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source)
-One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source).
Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees.
Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers.
