Reporting missing persons.

We are a local nonprofit agency that is part of a national network of organizations and individuals committed to improving Hawaii's maternal, child and family health through collaborative efforts in public education, advocacy and partner development. We offer a MothersCare Hotline, an online resource directory, and a health text messaging resource called Text4Baby. A coalition that promotes a better system of care for pregnant and parenting women and their families. Activities include helping pregnant women get prenatal care and health insurance, producing perinatal education and information, and conducting trainings to Hawaii's perinatal providers. Information and referral services for before, during and after pregnancy.

Investigates and takes enforcement action against illegal discharges into the City's storm drain system. Issues permits for various effluent discharges in to City's drainage system. Conducts a storm water sampling and monitoring program. Reviews effective Best Management Practices (BMP) for discharges into city's drainage system.

Offers weekly individual or group counseling focused on teaching independent living skills for youth aged 12 to 25. Maintains a training apartments from young men aged 17.5 to 19 who are in transition from foster care, group homes, shelters or institutions and also a home for young women transitioning out of foster care to independent living (training apartment participants are expected to have jobs and pay for rent and food). Also a home for pregnant and parenting teens.

Designs and maintains traffic signals on county roads. Maintains timing of lights or vehicular traffic and pedestrian crossings.

(Friends of the Childrens Justice Center - East Hawaii) Helps child victims of abuse ages birth-18 years to gain self-esteem and develop positive self-worth, by filling requests for items and services not available from any other source.

Provides care coordination to target populations. Participates with communities to problem-solve health issues. Provides education in women's and child health, chronic diseases, etc. Facilitates access to health care. Conducts screening tests and source/contact investigations on tuberculosis cases and other communicable diseases. Provides health services in public schools, consultation services to private schools, day care, and residential care homes.

Offers an education program for parents and children ages 6-17 (who lived together as a family unit) and who are going through separation or divorce. Pre-registration is required.

(Temporary Disability Insurance, TDI) Enforces labor laws relating to workers compensation (wage replacement benefits, indemnity benefits, vocational rehabilitation services, and medical and/or hospital care for work-related illness or injury), temporary disability insurance (wage replacement benefits for non-work-related illness or injury), and prepaid health care (medical and/or hospital care for non-work-related illness or injury).

Operates a prison for high security offenders and medium security offenders.

Jointly operates a community based program which is between the Department of Health and the Department of Education which services special education students between the ages of 12 to 21. Emergency food is available at the Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church Food Pantry. The pantry will be closed Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day through January 1, 2026. The pantry will have limited hours on January 2, 2026, please call for assistance.

Our Child Protection Center (CPC) is the state leader in identifying, treating and helping children and families recover from child abuse. Founded in 1969 in collaboration with the State of Hawaii, the CPC has been helping Hawaii’s children for over 45 years. We take a multidisciplinary approach to care and prevention, treating the child and his or her family. We also educate and train professionals in all disciplines, from doctors and nurses to social workers and law enforcement professionals. Provides short term counseling, anger management classes, supportive living services and wraparound support services for families at risk of child abuse and neglect. (VLA) The VLA project focuses on disabled and elderly veterans and family members who are residents of the state of Hawaii and who want assistance with filing benefits claims with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Also offers referrals to volunteer attorneys through VLSH's pro bono program for legal advice and direct services for: Family Law, Tenant Rights, Collections and Bankruptcy, Estate Planning/Probate, Re-Employment and Community Service Program (Oahu only).

Sponsors case management services, counseling, support groups, recreational activities, meal programs and vocational counseling. (Recreational Soccer League, Soccer) American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is a Youth Soccer Organization servicing the Kaneohe area to include areas up through Kaaawa. There is a very important program (VIP) for the physically challenged. The Program runs all year round with our main season during the fall of each year. Provides basic concepts of soccer to the youth of Kaneohe with the intent for the youth to participate at higher levels as they become available. Clinics are provided to adults to obtain the basics for coaching and refereeing. AYSO is entirely made up of volunteers.

(Pediatric Oncology Parent Support) Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation (HCCF) provides a wide range of services and programs for Hawaii families who have a child diagnosed with cancer, including financial assistance, support groups, social events, education and advocacy. HCCF offers financial assistance for medical, housing, and transportation expenses during treatment.
