The Hawaii Council on Economic Education's (HCEE) mission is to increase the economic literacy of Hawaii's students, teachers and residents. Provides opportunities and manages facilities for non-organized, outdoor, aquatic recreational activities such as sportfishing, underwater photography and studying aquatic life. Operates and stocks freshwater public fishing areas on Hawaii, Kauai and Oahu. Shoreline Fishery Management monitors accidental introduction of foreign aquatic species. Develops and manages statewide system of artificial reefs to enhance sportfishing species.

In Puna on Hawaii Island, Native Hawaiian culturally based intensive outpatient and outpatient program provided. Military OneSource is a Department of Defense-funded program that’s both a 24/7/365 call center and a website providing comprehensive information, resources and assistance on every aspect of military life—all at no cost to the user. Military OneSource provides information and referral on a wide range of topics including deployment, reintegration, financial, relationship issues, grief, spouse employment and education, and parenting and life skills. All calls to the call center are answered live by a master’s-level consultant. A central service provided by Military OneSource is confidential non-medical counseling. Non-medical counseling is available for up to 12 sessions, per person, per issue and is intended to prevent the development or exacerbation of lifestyle conditions that may compromise military and family readiness.
