(Hawaii Baptist Academy) Hawaii Baptist Academy's (HBA) elementary program serves more than 400 students from junior kindergarten through sixth grade in Nuuanu. The expanded curriculum meets the individual needs of each student through hands-on learning and enrichment activities which include: Bible, reading, writing, math, social studies, science, PE, STEM, art, music, and more. Developing Christian values is integrated through classroom to all of campus life.

Provides an array of family skill building, child abuse and neglect prevention services within the Kalihi. Both Centers offer information and referral. Both Family Centers focus on parents, school and community involvement to work together to improve academic achievement for children. The Center also offers opportunities to prevent homelessness, promote literacy and English language skills, and build employment skills through volunteer opportunities. (West Hawaii Processing Center - Ka'u) The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. (SASS, Empowering Alternatives Program, EAP, Sexual Assault Response and Advocacy Services, SARAH) Operates a 24-hour crisis hotline for persons affected by a sex assault, including women, men, girls and boys. Offers information, referral and direct support to any person victimized. Support is also provided during police, medical examinations and legal matters surrounding the crime, advocacy, counseling, and therapy.

Waikiki Health’s full-service Pharmacies, located at Ohua Clinic in Waikiki and Makahiki Clinic in McCully-Moiliili, provide prescription and over-the-counter medications.

Regulate and ensure the health and safety and well-being of young children and to reduce risk of harm in licensed child care facilities. Process applications and provide child care providers license to organizations and individuals.

Parent Participation Preschool is a three-phased program for parents to assist in their child's transition from home to school. Each phase requires a different amount of participation. The children progress through the program based on their development and mastered skills not age. -Pueo (Phase 1): Children begin a foundational program where they are introduced to a more structured learning environment. The programs main focuses are colors, shapes, letter recognition, and more. The class meets twice a week for 2 hours. This class requires 100% parents participation. -Honu Phase 2): Children entering Honu possess some basic, fundamental preschool abilities and are inspired to work independently, explore academics, use their creativity, and learn the importance of a daily routine. Honu focuses on phonic, basic math skills and writing. The class meets two or three times a week for 3 hours. This class requires parents to remain on site on his/her child's line leader day. -Nai'a (Phase 3): Children develop

Gives the opportunity for people to garden with the Community Recreational Gardening Program, providing them with land and water. All other improvements and services shall be provided by the gardeners. Each Community Garden is run by a self-governing body following general rules and regulations set up by the City and County of Honolulu. (Crime Stoppers) Provides law enforcement, criminal investigation and crime prevention. Investigates accidents and provides traffic control. Registers firearms. Accepts information on missing persons. HPD does not handle driver's licensing or motor vehicle registration, abandoned vehicles or safety inspections (these are provided by Department of Finance, Motor Vehicle & Licensing Division).

(After School Drop In) The Susannah Wesley Community Center After School Enrichment Program provides a safe, structured spaces where youth ages 7 years old -18 year old can build life skills, discover new interest, and form meaningful relationships with peers. Activities focus on personal growth, leadership, and academic achievement.

(988, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) Suicide prevention and crisis intervention service available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Callers to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline are routed to the nearest accredited crisis center in the caller's area. 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline calls are answered by staff at over 200 accredited crisis centers across the United States who provide callers with crisis counseling and mental health referrals. The Lifeline’s Crisis and Text Chat Service routes chat visitors to a subnetwork of crisis centers accredited in providing online emotional support. Offers career and technical education and liberal arts degree programs. Assists students with admissions, career counseling, and educational plans; provides help to students with financial aid, free tutoring and student activities.

Receives information on violations of state natural and cultural resource laws. Accepts reports from the public on potential violations or illegal activity on state lands or ocean.

Provides substance abuse treatment and other services for those with dual diagnosis.

(TNRM Strategy) 7-day rental of humane cat traps for use in a Trap Neuter Return Manage (TNRM) program. Trap pick up from the Ginny Tiu Spay and Neuter Center next to the admissions building. See the website for more information on spay and neuter appointments.

Holds jury trials and has general jurisdiction in Civil and Criminal cases. Has exclusive jurisdiction in Probate, Guardianship, and Criminal felony cases, as well as Civil cases where the contested amount exceeds $20,000. Shares concurrent jurisdiction with the District Court in Civil non-jury cases that specify amounts between $10,000 - 20,000. Conducts a drug court program, in which defendants are placed in drug rehabilitation programs instead of prison.
