(Isolation/Quarantine Orders) For university students attending University of Hawaii campuses across the state, such as UHM, Chaminade University, and Hawaii Pacific University: University students from out-of-state who are studying on Oahu and Kauai can participate in modified quarantine procedures that create a so-called ""modified quarantine bubble"" (MQB) The MQB allows these students to avoid the standard 14-day quarantine when courses begin in the fall semester. (Students began moving into UHM residence halls on Monday, August 17, and courses begin on Monday, August 24.) The MQB includes the following requirements: -All students planning to participate in the MQB must have tested negative for COVID-19, either within 72 hours of their departure when they flew to Hawaii or within 48 hours of their arrival in Hawaii. -Anyone not receiving a negative test must follow the mandatory 14-day quarantine for all travelers to Hawaii. (December 2021 Flood) Offers immediate emergency care services to victims of disaster. Emergency care services include emergency food and clothing. Provides mental health and stress management assistance to victims of disaster. Salvation Army is NOT taking donated items for the floods at this time. People are always welcome to donate items at our Thrift Stores, but NOT specific to flooding. (WAP) Assists qualifying households to reduce utility costs by providing a variety of energy efficient measures--including LED light bulbs, ENERGY STAR appliances, solar water heaters, energy-efficient showerheads, faucets aerators, and more--free of charge. (SSVF) Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) provides outreach and case management service to improve housing stability by providing supportive services to eligible Veteran families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing. Supportive Services include housing search assistance, landlord mediation, and temporary financial assistance. SSVF also provides information and referrals to assist participants with obtaining VA benefits and other public benefits, which may include health care services, personal financial planning services, and legal services.

Free, anonymous HIV testing with results in 15 minutes, counseling, outreach and referrals to other health agencies for other STDs. Hepatitis C testing also available.

Hookuaaina hosts weekly community days. By participating, volunteers learn the traditional way of cultivating kalo and make meaningful connections to place and with one another while having fun in the mud.

(RICO) Investigates and prosecutes consumer complaints against industries requiring a professional or vocational license. Each office is authorized to accept written complaints. Oral or anonymous complaints may be accepted. Distributes applications for professional or vocational licenses.

Pacific Health Ministry develops hospital ministry and Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs in Hawaii. Its mission is to provide the highest quality interfaith spiritual care to the people of Hawaii, pastoral training to students around the world, and education for the community. Pacific Health Ministry provides spiritual and emotional support programs for the patients, families, and staff for Hawaii hospitals, hospice programs, psychiatric hospitals, retirement centers, and long term care facilities. These services provide spiritual care to persons in trauma or crisis, as well as those dying or grieving the loss of a family member. Pacific Health Ministry also provides education for clergy, health care professionals, and others who assist persons who are dying, grieving, and in crisis. It is a program that leads to certification for ministers and religious professionals. Pacific Health Ministry is the only accredited ministry training institution in Hawaii.

Hale Naau Pono SNAP outreach program assists you in-person or over the phone in completing and submitting an application or a renewal form to a Department of Human Services Processing Center. In addition, the Outreach workers help recipeints to maintain their benefits and provide follow up (in most situations) on case status if needed.

(CLDP, Team Based Opportunities) The Conservation Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is a paid program for early professionals interested in pursuing a career in conservation. In CLDP, members are selected by a Host Site (partner organization) that aligns with their skills and conservation interests. Serving in areas such as ornithology, botany, natural resource management, aquatic resource management, marine biology, Hawaiian cultural studies, agricultural science, and more, CLDP terms typically last from 6 months to 1 year, offering hands-on experience, professional development, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in communities across Hawaii and the Pacific.

(Homelessness Prevention) This program serves families with children at risk of homelessness. If eligible, families can typically receive up to 3 months of rent (past due rent or future rent), utility assistance, or rental deposit.

Collects State taxes. Provides information and assistance on preparation of tax forms. Issues general excise tax licenses. Furnishes State tax forms.
