Hawai‘i Council for the Humanities seeks to use the public humanities to nurture the joy of learning, and inspire community and civic engagement. We aim to bring the humanities to hard-to-reach and nontraditional audiences across the state. The Lyon Arboretum is a 193.5 acre botanical garden operated by the University of Hawaii. Offers tours, classes and workshops.
