(YWCA of Kauai Camp Sloggett) Operates camp for use by schools, churches, non-profit agencies, family groups and other organizations. Used for day-long or overnight workshops, seminars or training programs. Space available for tent camping. Situated in the lush forest of Koke`e State Park is YWCA of Kaua'i Camp Sloggett. We offer a rustic and peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the 4,640 acre Koke`e forest and the 1,800 acre Waimea Canyon State Park.

The Department of Water Supply is a semi-autonomous agency of the County of Hawaii that is governed by the Water Board. They provide domestic water service through its 23 water systems throughout Hawaii island. Call to start or stop water service and billing questions. The Humane Society Hawaii Island (HIHS) provides shelter, food, licensing, adoption and euthanasia services for animals picked up by HIHS humane officers or brought in by private owners. Offers certificate for spaying/neuterig animals three times a year. Recruits and trains volunteers to care for the animals, work in the office and represent the Humane Society at community events. Also accepts birds that the public drop off for West Nile testing.

(Fern Park) Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Administers public service program for volunteers from community groups, churches, or businesses who agree to pick up litter on a section of highway their organization has adopted. Volunteers pick up litter on the specified section of highway at least four times a year. Provides high visibility vests, trash bags and safety information for volunteers. Removes filled bags and heavy hazardous items from roadsides. Erects signs on the highways to recognize volunteers' cleaning efforts.
