Fall Junior Lifeguards Program

Keiki ages 11 years old - 17 years old will learn ocean safety from City lifeguards at no cost. Children will learn rescue boards, rescue tubes, and near-shore search and rescue techniques from some of the City and County of Honolulu lifeguards. Keiki will also get an introduction to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic first aid.
Classes are free and will be held during the fall break from school: October 9-13, 2023. Each session will run from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

-Tuesday, October 10, 2023 - “Sherwoods,” which is Hunananiho, or Waimanalo Bay Beach Park

We have a secretary who leads the meetings and this position is cycled usually every three months.

Case Manager/Care Coordinator coordinates resources and community-based programs that helps with housing and other needs they may have. Maintains bi-weekly meetings to process and follow-up activities, conducts team meetings with providers including probation officers, mental health, substance abuse and medical.

The Community Clearinghouse accepts donations of gently used, working furniture, household items, and clothing from the public. All donated items are distributed free of charge to individuals, families, and disaster survivors in need. Items are provided as‑is, so all donations must be in usable, working condition.
We are unable to accept:
-Used car seats
-Used strollers
-Medical equipment
-Exercise equipment
-Pianos or musical equipment
-Computers or laptops
-Items that are broken, unsafe, or in disrepair

Fees Other
There is a non-refundable, $50 flat rate donation pick up fee. There is an additional fee of $25 to enter the home to access the items and $25 if items are not located on the ground level.
