On the 4th Saturday of every month, we welcome the public to Pia Valley to meet members of our local conservation community and help restore the biodiversity and resilience of the ahupuaa. Activities include: -A short 6-minute hike from the Anolani Street cul-de-sac to the restoration site in Pia Valley. -Hear a brief history of the area, our organization, watershed health, native ecosystems, and the cultural importance of ahupuaa land management. -Sing an oli (Hawaiian chant) and go over invasive species identification, removal, and safety protocols, -Participate in light clearing, watering, weeding, and planting.

Provides a safe and stimulating environment for the frail, elderly, and disabled adult. Provides social and related support services in a protective home setting during any part of the work day. The home environment will provide a pleasant, comfortable and safe surrounding for the elderly on a more personalized level outside of any institutional setting. Assists participants to remain in the community and promote the individuals maximum level of independence through social and psychological stimulation to mainstream and prevent further deterioration. Exhibits an 8 acre garden in a local setting through a self-guided tour. Offers picnic area for visitors, an aviary, a carp pond, a stream, a bird sanctuary (including Nene Geese), Hawaiian Statues, a covered bridge, and a souvenir and light snack shop. Stroller friendly garden. It takes about 1 hour to go through so be here by 3pm to enjoy the garden.

(Hoopono Services for the Blind Branch) Assists people with visual impairment, blindness, or both deafness and blindness to obtain and maintain employment and/or independent functioning. Provides evaluation, counseling and guidance. Provides physical and mental restoration, vocational and other training, job development and placement, and supported employment. Supplies assistive aids and devices. Teaches mobility skills, personal and home management, and communication skills.

Promotes, develops and maintains apprenticeship and other work-based training programs. Educates and informs women about non-traditional employment opportunities and work-based training.

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.

Ka Lai Ola is a temporary housing development that is located in West Lahaina within walking distance of Lahaina Civic Center. It will house 1,500 wildfire survivors until 2029. Ka Lai Ola will contain approximately 450 modular residential units, including a combination of studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom homes for independent living with full kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.

Provides volunteer opportunities to university students. Coordinates service learning programs throughout the state. We create projects as well as provide volunteers for projects already created by agencies.

(Youth Employment and Success Hawaii) YES Hawaii serves youth ages 14-26. The program provides peer support and outreach services. The Program is youth driven and designed to engage foster youth in peer mentoring and meaningful and supportive events and activities. Services include outreach and support, peer mentoring, events and activities, leadership and skill-building, and social media and other electronic communication training.

Kuikahi Mediation Center provides a variety of dispute prevention and resolution services to our East Hawaii community. We help individuals, families, organizations, businesses, schools, and others to find creative solutions to challenging situations.
