(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Bridge House Clean and Sober Living provides a residential living opportunity for people in recovery from drug/alcohol abuse. We are a culturally-based program, utilizing Hawaiian health and healing principles. We also have a vocational skills building component, which prepares individuals for entry/re-entry into the work force. We also operate an outpatient substance abuse treatment program at an off-site location that provides assessment and formal treatment.

Operates a thrift store selling low cost clothing, furniture, household goods, toys and more. Proceeds benefit vocational training and job placement programs for people with barriers to employment. Donation Drop Off On-site.

(MEO, MEO Core 4 Business Planning Class) Offers a 30-hour course that helps individuals analyze business opportunity and plan success. The course guides individuals in the development of a realistic, achievable plan for a business. It is helpful for prospective entrepreneurs as well as existing small business owners.

Protects and advocates for the human, civil, and legal rights of people with disabilities. Services include information and referral, technical assistance, advocacy and legal representation. Priority issues include: Free and appropriate public education, abuse and neglect; accessibility; employment; services; housing. During COVID19 pandemic, Intake is available via calls and online applications only until further notice. Intake hours remain the same.

Salvation Army Hawaii has a 50 beds (cots) overnight shelter for adults only. Dinner is provided. Check in time Monday-Sunday 4:00 pm on a first come, first served basis. A maximum of 1 pet is allowed. Showers available with a shower trailer daily. No drugs, no alcohol allowed. Men and women will be separated.

Exhibits an 8 acre garden in a local setting through a self-guided tour. Offers picnic area for visitors, an aviary, a carp pond, a stream, a bird sanctuary (including Nene Geese), Hawaiian Statues, a covered bridge, and a souvenir and light snack shop. Stroller friendly garden. It takes about 1 hour to go through so be here by 3pm to enjoy the garden.
