Serves the low-income, underprivileged, disabled and the elderly by designing, administering and mobilizing programs and resources so that the underprivileged may gain confidence, knowledge and independence.
Operates multi-programs under departments: Mediation, Group Homes, Elderly and Nutrition Services, and Homeless and Health services. Uses volunteers extensively in the elderly program.
Also administers one time grants for persons in need.
