(Society for Konas Education and Art) Offers Kona schools a "menu" of art (performing, literary & visual) activities for teachers. Works with the teachers to expand upon curriculum themes. Sponsors a youth group to advise on youth programs. Offers art workshops for adults & children and special events such as concerts and ho'olaulea. Art Camps for Children and Magic Camp during the October school break.

Offers a place for frail and not-so-frail seniors to gather and socialize with others. Program targets isolated seniors who are alone during the day and are in need of mental and physical stimulation to maintain their current level of functioning, thus delaying the need for more supportive care. This is a day activities program for the elderly. The focus is on healthy aging through intervention in the mental and social decline of seniors. Activities are age- and level-of-functioning appropriate and include chair exercise, arts and crafts, socialization, singing and games that challenge them.

(Kauai Teen Court) Teen Court is a collaborative effort between the Kauai Police Department (KPD), Prosecutor, County of Kauai, Family Court Fifth Circuit, Hale 'Opio Kaua'i, Inc, and youth serving public and private sector agencies to provide a diversionary program from Family Court for first time misdemeanor or status offending youth between the ages of 10 and 18. Juveniles who have admitted guilt and are prepared to be sentenced by their peers will be given a hearing. Teen Court judges selected from a pool of practicing judges, attorneys, and trained teens serve as court officers. Sentences may include referral to mediation or anger management classes, substance abuse counseling, tutoring, or to a mentor. All youth completing sentencing serve on at least three juries.

(Community-Based Mentoring Program) Case Managers at Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii work with parents, guardians, therapists, counselors, schools, and youth serving organizations to identify and pair under-resourced youth from ages 6 years old and older with one-on-one mentors. Case Managers create an outcome development plan in collaboration with the parent/guardian, child and volunteer. Plans are updated yearly. Youth and their mentors meet 2-3 times per month for a few hours each outing. Outings are selected by the youth. Mentors pick-up their mentees and are responsible for transportation and other costs they incur. Some of the costs are offset by sponsored activities and discounts at partnering companies.

SBA Microloan Program Starting March 1, 2021 the Hawaiian Council will be accepting loans from $2,500 to $50,000 without a capital contribution from the client. SBA Microloans are oriented to acquisition of inventory, materials, furniture and commercial equipment, improvements to physical plant and working capital. We provide business technical assistance free of charge for the life of the loan. Collateral may be required according to the risk and viability of the business to be financed. Lending is subject to availability of SBA funding. The Kealahou Initiative (Kī) is designed to support the development of ʻōpio leaders through entrepreneurship and innovation. This program is for opio ages 14 years old - 30 years old ready to take their creative ideas and passions through the design and entrepreneurial process, where you can start your own business, social movement, or government initiative. This program will help ʻōpio go from idea to being pitch-ready for investors and supporters at the rate that is best for them. Top performers from this cohort will be invited to compete in the Mahiai Match-Up Competition hosted by Kamehameha Schools, where the winners will have an opportunity for an agricultural land or commercial property agreement to expand their company operations.
