Discounted spay and neuter service for EBT/Kokua card holders, Medicaid card holders, and current low-income housing pet owners at participating clinics. Call or visit the website for a list of clinics. Services covered: -Pre-surgery exam -Surgery anesthesia -Sterilization surgery -Removal of stitches (if needed) Additional fees and costs may be required. Application required. Once approved visit the website for participating clinics. The costs of any additional services (such as lab work) must be paid directly to the veterinarian. Veterinarians decide if animals are medically fit for surgery and require vaccinations and other services prior to surgery. Clinics may also charge additional fees for animals that are over 3 years old or over 45 pounds. Each veterinarian determines the services provided and the cost of those services.
