(St Francis Adult Day Center) We provide a secure environment that is ideal for aging loved ones who cannot remain at home alone during the day, cannot perform all the activities of daily living but do not need 24/7 professional care, need social stimulation to prevent loneliness or depression, or need assistance with walking. Our adult day care programs offer a range of supervised activities in an uplifting, positive environment to enhance the quality of life for Hawaii’s seniors. Adult day care provides a way for seniors to remain at home as they age. They can enjoy the company of other seniors in a secure, nurturing environment. This allows family members to work during the day with peace of mind, knowing their loved one is in good hands. We provide intellectual stimulation, physical exercise, camaraderie with other seniors, and much more. (Easter Seals Hawaii Kauai Home and Community Based Services) At Easterseals Hawaii, we offer a comprehensive set of services for adults with disabilities and their families. We work to empower our clients to become more independent and participate fully in the communities where they live, work, and play. Services are delivered with dignity, passion, and the ultimate goal of self-determination. Program focus areas are enhancing independence, person-centered planning, social skills and enrichments, community integration and access, employment skills, personal care, and daily living skills. Adult Home and Community-based Services include group and individual services; employment services, Adult Day Health (ADH), Community Learning Service (CLS), Community Learning Service-Individual (CLS-I) for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism and down syndrome.

Provides services to CNMI residents for medical referrals, student services for students who want to attend Hawaii schools and colleges. Also provides information for potential visitors to Marianas. The Mariana Islands consist of Rota, Tinian, Saipan and Northern Islands.

Church of the Pacific distributes food to those that are in need.

(Youth Technology Education) We offer several programs through the year for kids to learn about new technologies through a place-based lens.

Enforces federal wage and hour statutes including Fair Labor Standards Act, Wage Garnishment, Employee Polygraph Protection Act, Immigration Reform and Control Act, Service Contract Act, Family and Medical Leave Acts, Davis Bacon Act, various "Whistle Blower" Acts, Public Contract Acts and others. Enforces laws concerned with child labor, overtime, prevailing wages and fringe benefits, farm labor employee protection, etc. Majority of employees in Hawaii may be covered by one or more of these laws. Enforcement responsibility is similar to that of the Wage Standards Division of the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

(H-HEAP, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention - Leahi, LIHEAP ECI, ECI) Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) Energy Crisis Intervention (ECI) is designed to help families keep their utilities (gas or electric) on, especially those households that are most vulnerable, such as the elderly, the disabled, and households with young children. H-HEAP primarily assists households by applying an energy assistance grant directly to the energy provider on behalf of the eligible household. Applications are accepted year-round. Credit amount varies by household. Call the Leahi District Service Center for more information.

Offers family literacy programs to residents of housing projects Mayor Wright Homes (MWH) and Kuhio Park Towers (KPT) in Kalihi. Also offers family libraries, Saturday story hours, and age-appropriate activities for children, and free twice weekly English and computer classes for adults in public housing.

Offers three "Learn to Swim" programs a year (Red Cross approved). Registration before program begins. Summer program starts around June, Fall program starts around September, Spring program starts around January. Also open to public for free swimming.
