Operates a multi-purpose cultural center which includes a 1,200 seat theater for local community and visiting professional groups, a visual arts gallery for local and visiting exhibitors, a Hula staging area for Hawaiian cultural events, an open air amphitheater for various usages and a courtyard staging area for informal and formal gatherings. Kane Connections offers the following services: 1:1 support via in person visits at our office, at your home, or in the community. Hui Kane our Monday night mens group held at Hale Makana. Kamalama, a 12 week parenting class for men and their partner/co-parent based on Hawaiian Values and rooted in the understanding that parents are their children's first teachers.

(CLAY, Ulu Pono Kids) Ulu Pono, translated as “To Thrive on a Righteous Path,” is our after-school children’s program. We’re passionate about seeing the kids of Hawaii reach their full potential and create a fun environment where learning, doing homework and growing in character are encouraged.

A training awards program designed specifically for persons currently working with, or planning to work with, older adults. These awards will provide tuition assistance for workers who enroll in credit or noncredit courses and certificate programs, which enhance their knowledge and skills in areas related to aging. Selected programs can be either in local classroom settings or online. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Cancer Information Service provides up-to-date information on cancer. Our trained Information Specialists provide personalized responses to a range of cancer topics, including: cancer research and clinical trials, how to find cancer treatment centers, cancer prevention, risk factors, symptoms, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and living with cancer.

Provides care coordination to target populations. Participates with communities to problem-solve health issues. Provides education in women and child health, chronic diseases, etc. Facilitates access to health care. Conducts screening tests and source/contact investigations on tuberculosis cases. Provides health services in public schools, consultation services to private schools, day care, and residential care homes.

Social Security Death Index: Lists about 38 million deceased persons who had Social Security numbers and whose deaths were reported to that administration. 5. US Military Index: Index of individuals in the United States military who died, or were declared dead, in Korea or Vietnam (1950-1975). 6. (TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. Hale Kipa ʻŌiwi ‘Aha Pūnana Leo has become a nationally recognized model for Native American language revitalization, and a resource for indigenous groups interested in reviving and perpetuating their traditional languages by providing assistance to develop language and cultural revitalization programs.

Provides confidential crisis intervention, legal system advocacy/ support, counseling, and medical services for sexual assault victims. Victims choose whether to report to police. Staff will be present at police interview if desired. Prevention education to schools and community also available.
