The Department of Water Supply is a semi-autonomous agency of the County of Hawaii that is governed by the Water Board. (Kula) --Referrals through the Hawaii CARES line-- Community Empowerment Resources’ Maui Crisis Stabilization Center is an around-the-clock crisis stabilization facility designed for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological crises. Our primary goal is to effectively resolve the crisis and help clients regain stability. We offer a secure and therapeutic environment for adults aged 18 years old or older, providing support for up to 14 days.

Provides information and referral services to Hawaiians for health and human service resources and links clients with appropriate agency services.

Provides information on requirements of the unemployment insurance (UI) program. Accepts claims for unemployment insurance and determines if a person is eligible and the amount of benefits due. Ensures compliance by employers with the rules, regulations and provisions under the Hawaii Employment Security Law. Registers liable employers and collects taxes. Announcement: The Hawaii Unemployment Insurance Division, in partnership with the U.S Department of Labor and U.S. Postal Service have launched two new methods to provide ID verification – Login.gov and USPS in person proofing. Claimants filing for UI benefits on or after August 24, 2023 must provide proof of ID through one of these methods to continue their claim for UI benefits. (DVSF) The Domestic Violence Services for Families program provides counseling services for offenders, survivors and their children who have been referred by DHS programs. Services are provided primarily through group and individual counseling. Serves the Windward and Central area of Oahu. Groups area available after hours in the evening.

Provides parole supervision, counseling, case management, referral, academic and employment advising, group caseload meetings.

(MEO) Assists low-income individuals and legal permanent residents to become self-sufficient by providing counseling services, pre-employment training, and support services.
