We are an educational membership program providing noncredit, college-level offerings designed to serve older adults’ continuing social, developmental and intellectual needs. A $60 Term Membership in OLLI entitles an individual to enroll in up to three courses or workshops and attend free special events on a space-available basis during that term. We have three semesters a year, Fall, Spring and Summer. No requirements for membership other than a desire to learn.

Provides comprehensive services to persons in acute mental health crisis or who are suffering from a serious mental illness. Provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment, counseling and psychotherapy, case management, crisis intervention, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

The Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center works to educate the community on how to prevent overdose, recognize the signs of overdose, and treat someone experiencing an overdose. The medication Naloxone has proven to stop the effects of opioid overdose and save lives, and is legal to carry in the state of Hawaii. Our naloxone program is free and anonymous, and available on Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii Island.

Bus passes to persons with disabilities which allow them to ride at a reduced rate if application is approved.

(Queens Medical Center - Main Switchboard and Information) Transfer in-coming calls to requested individuals or departments. Accepts volunteers who are at least 15 years of age for areas such as the ER Department, pharmacy, business offices and nursing units.

(Homeless Shelter) Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.

Assists Mexican citizens who are visiting or living in Hawaii (medical problems, legal issues, etc.). Issues tourist permits. Provides information for potential visitors to Mexico.

Provides information about County of Kauai services. Administers county programs. Assists with complaints.

Seeks to preserve existing community resources. Promotes community involvement in planning and economic development. Sponsors events such as Old Hawaiian Horseback, rodeos and other cultural events. Supports community projects.

(Ho'omau Ke Ola - HKO) Hoomau Ke Ola operates a culture-based substance abuse treatment center providing residential, outpatient, and aftercare levels of care along with transitional housing, case management services, individual and group counseling, family education, and vocational education. Using cross-cultural perspectives to the healing of addiction, Hoomau Ke Ola clients participate in outdoor activities that include restoration of Hawaiian agricultural land, service to the community, hula and canoeing.

(WUCC Food Pantry, WUCC) Central Union Church Windward Food Distribution Program provides non-perishable food and prepackaged bags of food (protein, fruit, starch, vegetables). The church is committed to providing this outreach to the community and everyone who has a need for food is welcome. Please bring your own bag for food pick up. Central Union Church Windward is a Hawaii Food Bank Agency authorized to receive FDA products, therefore our program is required to have our clients sign a form confirming the need and number of individuals in the household. HawaiiKidsCAN and Air Tutors team up to bring students to grade level and beyond. The collaboration ensures that students in Hawaii are matched to an expert educator that will focus on advancing their skill sets and growing them as individuals. Kids 5 years old - 13 years old (Grade K-8th) can receive tutoring in Math and English. Kids 14 years old - 18 years old (Grade 9th-12th) can receive tutoring in Math and English. Access to the internet and a computer or some other device are required to attend the online tutoring sessions. Math sessions are on Monday and Wednesday. English sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. This is a free program as scholarships are being provided for the Spring 2024 session. Hawaii Tutoring has rebranded as Hawaii Tutoring+, as we now are planning to offer digital literacy support for members of the whole family, including parents and kupuna.

(Ready To Learn Program, RTL, R2L Program, Ready 2 Learn Program) Ready to Learn (RTL) is a statewide initiative that provides students in need from kindergarten through high school with a backpack filled with new pencils, pens, notebooks and other school supplies with an intended outcome of school readiness. Assistance is provided year round, but the primary period is the summer before each new school year. Application period for school supplies is from March-May, and the distribution of school supplies is in July. If you miss the application period, call the Community Clearinghouse at the number listed at the end of July to see if there are any school supplies left after the primary distribution is done.
