(KIPC, Car Seat and Booster Seat Safety, CPS) Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition (KIPC) provides a network of Car Seat Inspection Stations, technicians, and instructors certified in caregiver education on correct child restraint use and installation. KIPC provides appointments at Inspection Stations and conducts car seat checks at community events on Oahu. KIPC also provides standardized certification training for new technicians, and updates for those currently certified.

Manages small boat harbors and launch ramps. Issues boat registrations and permits for ocean recreation events such as canoe regattas, surfing and board sailing contests, and yacht races. Regulates commercial activities such as "thrillcraft" operations.

(HUOA) The Legacy Ballroom is a fully air-conditioned, multi-functional auditorium/theater and banquet hall, featuring a 40 foot wide theater stage, a professional lighting and sound system and a large projection screen that drops from above the stage. A beautiful garden provides the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding and picture taking. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 800 guests for a sit-down banquet or up to 1,200 guests for a stand-up reception or in a theater style sitting configuration. The Legacy Ballroom can also be divided into two smaller rooms, Legacy I and Legacy II. Our Legacy I Ballroom seats (min.) 200 to 350 (max.) guests, and our Legacy II Ballroom seats (min.) 125 to 200 (max.) guests.

(HIHR) Provides Transitional Housing Program, Permanent Supportive Housing Program, Kitchen and Pantry Food Service Programs for the homeless. Provides assistance especially those with mental illnesses, substance abuse disorders, dual diagnosis, physical health and other disabilities, prioritizing the chronically homeless. Program helps achieve specific goals that includes but is not limited to obtaining and maintaining Transitional Housing, Supportive Permanent Housing and long-term Permanent Housing and will continue to provide Housing Services with Evidence-Based and Low-Barrier Service Models, as well as Coordinated Data Entry System utilizing (VI-SPDAT) and the Housing First Model Approached. Case Manager/Care Coordinator coordinates resources and community-based programs that helps with housing and other needs they may have. Maintains bi-weekly meetings to process and follow-up activities, conducts team meetings with providers including probation officers, mental health, substance abuse and medical.

Provides congregate meals program for persons aged 60 and over at several Senior Center sites around the island. Includes leisure and socialization activities, along with nutrition education sessions. Provides lunches to those persons who are homebound due to illness, and/or are unable to prepare meals.

(PAT) Increase Your Keiki’s Opportunity for School Success! Program for families of prenatal moms, infants and toddlers called “Parents As Teachers,” or PAT - a home-based program for families that begins before your keiki is born until a keiki turns three. Through home visits, we support parents with practical, research-based strategies and activities to support the importance of enhancing school readiness during these critical and formative years of a keiki’s life. These strategies enhance parent child interactions, strengthen ohana relationships and support parents in being their keiki’s first and most influential teacher. Literacy is a major focus of PAT, books are used in every visit. The “Parents as Teachers” Foundational Curriculum is provided through supportive certified PAT parent educator’s home visits and screenings in assisting parents in understanding the latest neuroscience research and how it relates to their keiki. City and County of Honolulu Seniors can use the Senior HOLO card to pay for rides on TheBus, and in the future the HandiVan, and the rail system on June 30, 2023. Go to the website for frequently asked questions (FAQ), register your card so you can protect it from loss or theft and transfer fees, sign up for the auto-reload program, check your balance for up to six family members and manage their cards and balances. Fares are capped and your money goes toward a pass. Once you spend the amount of a pass, you ride the rest of the day or month for free. Senior fares are $3. Transfers are free within 2.5 hours of riding the vehicle.

Provides information on Advance Care Planning to help people who may be facing serious illness and their loved ones prepare for decisions they may need to make as a person's illness progresses. Provides information on advance directives and is Hawaii's clearing house for POLST (Providers Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment)a portable medical order for people with advance illness. Provides professional and public education, advocacy and public policy, referrals and resources on palliative and hospice care, and leadership for statewide palliative and end-of-life care initiatives. The "Let's Talk Story" Program will go to community groups, churches and temples and provide free training.

The ARCH Respite Locator is a free, searchable, online database that enables users to access respite care in their local communities. There are more than 4,000 respite providers listed nationwide.

Provides social service program for Native Hawaiians aged 60 and older. Serves Hawaiian lunch meal each day. Offers friendly visiting, telephone reassurance and referrals to other community agencies.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Services include housing placement assistance, job training, assistance obtaining documents (State ID, Social Security Card, etc.), mail services. Operates photographic camera club with access to a black and white darkroom. Educates members in the various processes and complexities of photography. Schedules an annual members' exhibition, an annual members contest and periodic shooting opportunities. Anyone interested in learning to print and process black and white film/prints may sign up with the Makiki District Recreation Program.

HUGS visits children with a life-threatening illness and their families while hospitalized for treatment. Interactive play with hospitalized child and/or siblings to relieve stress of hospitalization.
