Kane Connections provides 1:1 and group support for men in the Maui community. While we encourage the participation of fathers or male caregivers (grandpa, uncle etc..) all men are invited to participate in the Kane Connections Program. (H-HEAP, LIHEAP ECI, ECI, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention) The Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) is a federally funded program that provides eligible low-income households with a one-time utility assistance payment. Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI) assists households in crisis (utility termination is current or impending) by assisting with a one-time credit up to $650.00 to help restore or prevent termination of electric or gas services through Hawaiian Electric or Hawaii Gas Company. Applications are accepted on a month-by-month basis, but approvals are limited and space fills quickly. Payments are made directly to your utility company. You can choose either Energy Credit (EC) or Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI), just one assistance per fiscal year. A checklist of additional required documents is included in the application. Documents can be sent as a PDF or JPEG as long as copies are clear. H-HEAP will not be responsible for returning original documents if sent in (e.g. ID's, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Paystubs, Housing Documentation, etc.); Please provide copies only.

Provides opportunities and manages facilities for non-organized, outdoor, aquatic recreational activities such as sportfishing, underwater photography and studying aquatic life. Youth drop into the space and are given the opportunity to earn a bike by learning how to fix and maintain a bike in addition to volunteering to help maintain the flow of the shop. Each year there are 400 donated bikes that are refurbished by youth and about 4000 bikes are repaired though 9000 youth service hours.

FEMA Corps Teams serve nationally under Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) direction to complete administrative projects related to disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. Serve for 12 months and rack up professional skills that are highly transferable. Coordinate with nonprofits and government agencies, plan response and relief efforts during a disaster, or conduct damage assessments after a disaster. COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT SERVICES We provide a wide array of comprehensive assessments that include the following types: DUI or OVUII, SAP, First Time Offender Assessments (Act 230/44), and SAA. We work with the Division of Drivers Education, The Judiciary - Adult Client Services, the Department of Transportation (DOT), and Employers to provide needed alcohol and substance abuse assessments for individuals who are required to obtain one for various reasons. (Tutus Closet) Tutu's closet is a free mini thrift shop held only on 7/18/15 (Saturday) that provides household items, clothes, children's clothing for school, shoes.
