All Hele2Work services are free to those in need who are homeless, or who are at-risk of becoming homeless if employment is not secured quickly.

Adult Day Health - Adult Day Health programs are located in Central Maui and provide therapeutic environments for our participants to grow and learn. We offer enriching community activities, promote self-direction and provide individualized programming. Our staff are teachers, advocates and mentors collaborating to foster our participants’ independence and supporting them to achieve their goals. We provide daily transportation and lunch. Personal Assistant Services - This is a 1:1 service, where the participant is matched with a fully trained staff who assists him/her with navigating the community or working in the participant's home to achieve his/her individualized goals. These goals are developed by the participant and his/her circle of support in order to increase his/her level of independence and community access. Service hours are evaluated by the Department of Health and based on the participant’s needs and goals. Employment Services - Arc of Maui County supports the premise that all participants shall have the opportunity for competitive and integrated employment. Employment services are discussed with the participant and their circle of support to identify their interests and preferences. Employment is a significant way to improve self esteem and support participants to be contributing members of their communities.

Provides temporary part-time employment and on-the-job training opportunities for Hawaii Island seniors 55 years of age or older who meet all program eligibility requirements. Services include job counseling/development, information and referral, and job placement in community service-oriented host agencies, which provide senior enrollees with current work experience, references, and new skills. (KIPC, Car Seat and Booster Seat Safety, CPS) Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition (KIPC) provides a network of Car Seat Inspection Stations, technicians, and instructors certified in caregiver education on correct child restraint use and installation. KIPC provides appointments at Inspection Stations and conducts car seat checks at community events on Oahu. KIPC also provides standardized certification training for new technicians, and updates for those currently certified.

Kealia Pond is a National Wildlife Refuge that is home to native and endangered Hawaiian waterbirds. No dogs or pets allowed.
