(Hawaii Relief Program) Vibrant Hawaii is helping people to complete the Hawaii Relief Program applications. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees. Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers. (LITFP) The Low Income Transit Fare Program (LITFP) provides a discounted transit fare for income qualifying individuals. Applications accepted on a first come, first served basis. McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA) - Kauai Campus provides adults with basic, remedial, and continuing education opportunities. Our programs include English Language Acquisition (ELA), Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation, and DOE support classes.
