Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(Voter Registration/Elections - Kauai) Assists the County Council and answers inquiries on council related matters. Provides research, records management, secretarial assistance, and clerical support services to the County Council. (Food Pantry) Full Gospel Church of Oahu provides food to the needy, poor, homeless or sick people.

Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. Advises, explains procedures, and orients victims/witnesses to criminal justice system. Accompanies client to court. Provides information on cases. Promotes public awareness of victim/witness concerns. Assists victims with restitution, compensation and referral to community agencies if applicable.

Families are allowed to receive diapers once a month, per child, ages from infant to 3 years old. Please call to confirm operation hours and the availability of diapers.

Food Pantry is held on the last Sunday of each month from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

(Drivers Licensing - Waimea) Administers written and road tests for driver's license for automobiles, buses, mopeds, motorcycles, motorscooters, and trucks over 11,000 GVWR. Issues commercial driver's licenses and permits. Receives international and local driver's license inquiries.

(Homeownership Education and Coaching Program - Kona Office) The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center's (HHOC) lifetime membership prepares buyers for the home purchase through classes and individual coaching. Classes address the general concepts about preparing for homeownership and the buying process; individual coaching provides support to identify buying resources and creating an action plan to become mortgage ready. Support after our members become homeowners is available through workshops and confidential meetings. Office is located in the Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union, Koloko Branch - 73-5611 Olowalu Street, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. Office hours are limited to branch hours of operations. As we only have one staff person at this satellite location, please call ahead for an appointment.
