Provides information, education and support to those people who have Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction (CFIDS) - also known as Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and related illnesses such as Gulf War Illness.

The Maui Strong program delivers bagged groceries and essential supplies to kupuna who were displaced or otherwise impacted by the Maui wildfires. Deliveries are made directly to their homes by volunteer drivers. For safety and privacy, drivers do not enter the kupuna’s homes. In addition to home deliveries, the program provides care navigation services to help connect kupuna with resources and support. We also offer transportation services for those who need transportation to medical appointments or essential errands.

(Hawaii Relief Program) Vibrant Hawaii is helping people to complete the Hawaii Relief Program applications. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees. Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers. Offers a variety of sports/fitness programs including aerobics, weightlifting, racquetball and swimming. Provides lodging for single men. Sponsors youth programs including holiday fun, hula, ukulele, computers, junior leadership, and sports. Provides after school and vacation child care. Also provides a driver's education program. Has single room male-only residential facility, call about accomodations, room rates and other information.

Goodwill Industries of Hawaii provides a free donation pick up in select Oahu communities: East Honolulu, Ewa Beach, Kapolei, and Manoa zip codes. At this time we are not servicing condos and apartments. Please feel free to drop your donations off at a drop off location.

(Queens Referral Line, Queen Emma Clinics, Queen Emma Pediatric Clinic, Queen Emma Womens Health Center, Queens Cancer Center) Provides referrals to private physicians (may select specialty, insurance accepted, languages spoken, and more). Provides information about Queen's Medical Center programs and registers people in health education classes and CPR certification courses.

(Food Pantry) Provides prepacked, large grocery bags with assorted canned and packaged food which is distributed to people in need. Food distribution will take place at our main sanctuary doors on Beretania Street. Paid parking is available in our lot off of Victoria Street or on-street parking.

Receives information on violations of state natural and cultural resource laws. Accepts reports from the public on potential violations or illegal activity on state lands or ocean.

Roots Reborn supports migrant and immigrant families by helping them access critical resources and services. We offer hands-on support with applications for aid, provide language support, and assist with navigating complex systems. Through strong community partnerships, including MauiWES, Kaiser Permanente, CNHA, and Maui United Way, we connect individuals to healthcare services, housing resources, and financial support.

Donate items to Goodwill Industries of Hawaii. The donation center is located in the former Cheap Tickets kiosk near Starbucks.

Supports cultural events in the community related to Korean dance and music. Goal is to perpetuate traditional Korean dance and music. Welcomes any volunteer who is knowledgeable about our legacy. The Foundation works on major projects related to the Korean culture.

(Alaka'i Na Keiki) Alakai Na Keiki provides children, youth and adults with psychological and substance abuse assessments, sex abuse, mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as individual and group therapy.

(SNAP Outreach, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach) Lanakila Pacific is a Hawaii-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering assistance programs and operating social enterprises to build independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive, physical, social or age-related challenges. Since 1939, its vision has been to embody self-sufficiency and inspire inclusive communities where people of all ages and abilities are empowered to live independently, find meaningful employment and thrive in spirit. The organization collectively serves and benefits more than 2,000 people each year including individuals with disabilities and seniors in our community.

Parents And Children Together (PACT) provides a confidential facility available around the clock for survivors and their children in crisis. Services include safety planning, case management, and referrals to legal, medical, financial, and housing assistance. If you are in an abusive relationship with your spouse or partner, call the Domestic Violence Shelter Access and Crisis Line. A staff member will speak with you over the phone to see how we can best help you and provide resources that are available through our shelter program or another agency. Your call is completely confidential.

(Workforce Development) Provides job training, placement, and case management services for individuals receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)/VR (Vocational Rehabilitation) assistance.

The Medical Reserve Corps in Hawaii is an all volunteer group with many different skill sets. The Hawaii MRC needs volunteers who have medical and non-medical backgrounds who want to serve their local communities during public health emergencies or large scale emergency response events.

Self-Help Housing Corporation of Hawaii (SHHCH) is developing the 87 lot Nanaikeola Self-Help Housing Subdivision in Nanakuli. SHHCH provides technical assistance to families with very low and low income to build their own houses through the team self-help housing method. Technical assistance includes financial counseling, loan packaging, homeownership education, and instructions on-the-job on how to build houses through the mutual self-help housing method. Under the team self-help housing approach families will build one and two story, three and four bedroom houses for $395,000, fee simple. No down payment required. Each family will contribute 32 hours/week of labor and help each other build the houses through a mass construction technique. SHHCH projects initiating the residential construction at the end of 2025.

Program provides support through socialization, conversation, friendship and companionship. Spending time with a home-bound senior or person with disabilities promotes independence, reduces isolation, and improves quality of life. The Friendly Visitor Volunteer visits or calls on a regular basis to build a positive relationship that conveys warmth and caring.

(Family Peace Center - Maui) Maui Family Peace Center teaches non-violent problem-solving skills for families struggling with adult aggression and behavioral dysfunction, emphasizing partnership, equality, and respect among families. Support for survivors/victims and child witnesses of domestic violence that includes individual and group counseling, case management, parental classes, community referrals and legal system advocacy. Support for offenders includes violence intervention groups. Adolescent services provided free of charge for those in need of effective problem solving skills to manage anger and/or those exhibiting violent behavior and anger control issues; anyone can refer themselves or a family member. Community education and training for schools, community groups, and agencies available.

The Office of Housing and Community Development is responsible for the planning, administration and operation of all of the County of Hawai‘i’s housing programs such as the Section 8 rental assistance for qualified families.
