(FSS, Family Strengthening Service) This program helps families provide a safe home for their children, promote positive parenting, and prevent child abuse and neglect. Families receive free, short-term, home visiting services designed to provide support and help maintain and improve individual and family function by improving parenting skills. The program also provides information and linkages to community resources. Assists families that are referred to us by the Child Welfare Services. Strengthening the family's skills to help them provide a nurturing environment and connects them with community resources.

Elder Law Program focuses on legal issues of socially and economically needy elders on Oahu and provides advice/counsel and referrals for problems involving public entitlements, guardianship/conservatorship, housing, landlord/tenant, elder abuse, age discrimination, consumer protection, healthcare decisions, and planning for incapacity and death.

(Pahoa Women and Childrens Health Center) Child immunizations and vaccinations, wellness exams, well child visits, and preventative services.

Provides substance abuse prevention education and activities among the E Ola Pono curriculum.

Registers and tracks persons of Hawaiian ancestry to help OHA determine how best to distribute benefits from federal programs addressing health, education and economic development. This also qualifies Hawaiians for special group benefits to be organized by OHA, including group insurance and discounts on selected retail and service purchases.

(Alzheimer’s Association Safe Return) Helps families and police locate Alzheimer's Disease victims who are unable to find their own way home. Provides identification bracelets. Maintains registry of Alzheimer's patients. Provides a nationwide 24-hour, toll free 800 number to contact when someone is lost or found. Audits, inspects and investigates production, distribution and adjustments related to milk quotas and licenses. Reviews and recommends adjustments of minimum prices paid to producers and production quota to assure a fair return on investment.

Quality Care for Hawaiian Keiki (QCHK) is a child care subsidy program for Native Hawaiian in Maui County. QCHK goals are to help Native Hawaiian/Part Hawaiian families become more economically self sufficient as well as helping their children to become school ready. Program provides assistance to families to pay for child care, for children ages 0-13 and up to 19 years old for children with special needs. Child care includes Licensed Family Child Care Homes, Infant and Toddler Centers, Preschools, Before/After school Programs, Intercession care as well as License-Exempt providers. Provides help with child care providers in Maui County with any needs that they might have in the areas of training, health, safety and licensing.
