(Youth Employment and Success Hawaii) YES Hawaii serves youth ages 14-26. The program provides peer support and outreach services. The Program is youth driven and designed to engage foster youth in peer mentoring and meaningful and supportive events and activities. Services include outreach and support, peer mentoring, events and activities, leadership and skill-building, and social media and other electronic communication training.

Offers weekly individual or group counseling focused on teaching independent living skills for youth aged 12 to 25. Maintains a training apartments from young men aged 17.5 to 19 who are in transition from foster care, group homes, shelters or institutions and also a home for young women transitioning out of foster care to independent living (training apartment participants are expected to have jobs and pay for rent and food). Also a home for pregnant and parenting teens.

Offers complete family dentistry including exams, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, etc. Dental emergency treatments include dental pain and facial swelling relief and extraction.

Assists Swiss citizens visiting or living in Hawaii (medical problems, legal issues, etc.). Provides information for potential visitors to Switzerland.

Provides immediate emergency assistance to victims of disasters, including food, shelter, clothing, crisis counseling and other services. Offers classes in CPR, first-aid, aquatics. For military personnel, provides emergency communication services, counseling and referral services. Provides international tracing service. Scholarships are given as a reimbursement for the tuition of college-level courses in early childhood education, for Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) classes taken if converted to college credits, or for direct assessment fees in obtaining a Child Development Association (CDA) certificate. Liko - We provide educational assistance to youth ages 5-24 who need additional assistance in meeting their educational goals. Youth Entrepreneurship Program - This program is open to youth ages 15-24 who have an interest in entrepreneurship, exploring career opportunities and expanding their general skills. Pahono - We currently partner with local schools to provide credit recovery or intensive support services for students who are at risk of failing their educational goals.

Works in partnership with County Early Childhood Resource Coordinator to promote coordinated early childhood education and care system for children from birth to age eight in the County of Maui. Provides phone consultations, information on early childhood related topics, and referrals to early childhood services. Child care payment subsidies are available to qualified working families, children with parents in school/job training, and retired grandparents raising their grandchildren. Also collaborates with the Department of Education in providing school readiness materials and programs.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Works to increase public awareness of osteoporosis through prevention programs and campaigns, public policy forums and grassroots efforts.
