Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. (Waianae Cedar Farm) Distributes food to the individuals and families that are homeless or low income.

(Family Visitation Center - Oahu) Family Visitation Centers provide a safe, neutral setting for children to visit with their non-custodial parents or transition from one parent to the other. After a divorce or separation, family visitation services may be arranged by agreement of both parents and by court order.

(Cat Friends) Abandoned and Feral Cat Friends works to decrease the abandoned and feral cat population through the widely accepted trap/neuter/return/manage methodology. This humane approach returns cats to where they were trapped under human care and supervision, while ensuring they are not producing unwanted litters.

(EHCY, Homeless Concerns Office, Education for Homeless Children & Youth) State of Hawaii Department of Education's Youth Education Stability Project provides resources for homeless families. Families who find themselves grappling with homelessness have rights under the McKinney-Vento Act to ensure their children continue uninterrupted access to education and services. (SSO) Department of Education Seamless Summer Option (SSO) Program provides meals free of charge at participating public schools for children 1 year old - 18 years old June 9, 2026 - July 17, 2026. Children do not need to be enrolled in public school to participate. Schools will serve breakfast 7:15 am - 8:45 am and lunches from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. There will be no meal service on the June 11, 2026 (Kamehameha Day) and July 3, 2026 (Independence Day observed) state holidays. All meals must be eaten on campus; no grab-and-go options are available. Children do not have to be enrolled at a participating school to be served, and meals will consist of solid foods. Gregory House Programs's Save the FoodBasket program delivers food to those who are house bound or in rural areas and distributes groceries at a rented space in a centrally located church. Information on the distribution location available upon the completion of a referral. All recipients get an equal amount of frozen meats, produce, dairy, and non-perishable goods. Hot lunches are available twice a week. Other services include limited toiletries and cleaning supplies, nutrition classes, and nutrition counseling.

Provides educational programs and resource materials in leadership development, volunteer management, public policy education and how to train others. Statewide network of volunteers. Staffed through local Cooperative Extension Services offices.

Serves as a liaison between the District Health Office and the central vital records office of the Department of Health in Honolulu. Provides order forms for vital records of birth, death, marriage and divorce. Applications for license to perform marriage ceremonies.

Coordinates disposal of municipal solid waste and green waste.

Offers outpatient substance abuse treatment.
