Imua Autism Services works with children up to 6 years old using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is an evidence-based, therapy that focuses on improving social skills, communication and human behavior and is an effective method to help children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn the skills they need to move forward. Imua Family Services understand that each child learns differently. Our goal is to provide an interactive, fun, play-based learning program. We take a collaborative approach incorporating family members and caregivers to develop a comprehensive plan. We work to personalize educational programs for both the child and parents using interviews, observations and natural environment assessments. Imua Family Services also provides ABA services through our Therapeutic Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness Program.

The Rent-to-Work Program (RTW) provides rental assistance and support services to persons experiencing homelessness who are willing to maintain employment or increase income through employment. The participant must develop and follow an individualized employment and training plan to increase income. Services include: Short-term rental subsidy for 12-24 months, housing placement assistance, tansition to affordable housing (if available), job placement/job training, and intensive case management.

BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download) - Digital audio books and magazines are available for download from t he National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Library services application: individuals, institutions Applicants must be registered and in active status with the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Patrons should ensure their name and address are updated with the library before applying. New patrons should wait two weeks before applying for BARD because new patron information and changes are submitted to the NLS database (CMLS) only once a week.

Three computers are available for student use. Those with personal laptops or iPads will have access to our WIFI for the purpose of completing homework or school projects.
