(H-HEAP, LIHEAP, LIHEAP EC, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Credit - Pahala) The Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) is a federally funded program that provides eligible low-income households with a one-time utility assistance payment. Applications for the Energy Credit Program (disconnection notice not required) will be accepted June 2025. The Energy Credit (EC) assists households not in crisis needing assistance with utility costs by providing a one-time supplemental payment to help offset the client's cost. EC applications are accepted every June and payments are made directly to your utility company (Hawaiian Electric or Hawaii Gas Company) during the following Fiscal year. You can choose either Energy Credit (EC) or Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI) just one assistance per fiscal year. A checklist of additional required documents is included in the application. Documents can be sent as a PDF or JPEG as long as copies are clear. H-HEAP will not be responsible for returning original documents if sent in (e.g. ID's, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Paystubs, Housing Documentation, etc.); Please provide copies only.

Junior Achievement of Hawaii teaches business economics to students in K - 12th grade using trained volunteers as business consultants. The mission and purpose is to inspire students to value free enterprise, understand business economics, stay in school and be workforce ready. We provide services by coming to schools or in some cases other sites where students gather.

All Kaiser plan members affected by the Kona Low on March 2026 can call or go in to a Kaiser pharmacy to get help with medication replacement. (Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Serves as a liaison between the District Health Office and the central vital records office of the Department of Health in Honolulu. Provides order forms for vital records of birth, death, marriage and divorce. Applications for license to perform marriage ceremonies. For individuals impacted by the Maui Wildfires who need replacement vital records, an order may be placed online at https://vitrec.ehawaii.gov or call (808) 586-4602 or (808) 984-2400 ext. 6-4602. A relative may make the order on behalf of the person needing the replacement by uploading a copy of their own government ID (if born in Hawaii) to establish a relationship to the impacted individual.
