Scholarships are given as a reimbursement for the tuition of college-level courses in early childhood education, for Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) classes taken if converted to college credits, or for direct assessment fees in obtaining a Child Development Association (CDA) certificate. (Ohana Finding) Family Finding is a process designed to identify, locate and engage family members of children and youth who are in foster care. Family Finding utilizes database case mining and internet searches to identify and locate family and other possible relatives. Individuals who are identified as possible relatives are verified via phone contact and/or letters, and names of confirmed family members are compiled onto maternal and paternal family lists. These lists are then submitted to Child Welfare Services (CWS), the GAL, and the EPIC Ohana Conference coordinator or the Ohana Connections specialist to assist them in engaging relatives to help care for, provide support for, or reconnect to the child in care. The Medical Reserve Corps in Hawaii is an all volunteer group with many different skill sets. The Hawaii MRC needs volunteers who have medical and non-medical backgrounds who want to serve their local communities during public health emergencies or large scale emergency response events.

Our primary goal is to effectively resolve the crisis and help clients regain stability. We offer a secure and therapeutic environment for adults aged 18 years old or older, providing support for up to 14 days.

Provides information about immunizations required to attend school. Coordinates programs to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases by increasing immunization levels and promoting immunization. Monitors immunization levels in schools. Oversees enforcement of school immunization and physical examination requirements. Conducts immunization campaigns and other special projects.
