Assists Court in using sentencing power to rehabilitate individuals. All clients are Court ordered for misdemeanor offenses for pre-sentence reports or on supervision for maximum of one year for each case referred. Referral for mental health, drug and alcohol assessment and follow up treatment. Restitution study for victims of crimes and collection of monies may be ordered by the Judge. Case Manager/Care Coordinator coordinates resources and community-based programs that helps with housing and other needs they may have. Maintains bi-weekly meetings to process and follow-up activities, conducts team meetings with providers including probation officers, mental health, substance abuse and medical.
