(ORL Processing Center) The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance.
A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. Makaha Community Center - Donations

Makaha Community Center is partnering with Waianae Assembly of God to collect donations of food, clothing, furniture, appliances, and household items to distribution to others.
We also support local Department of Education school incentive programs in the Nanakuli-Waianae complex to help promote academics and attendance.

Purple Van Food Program
The Private Sector Hawaii serves the North Shore of Oahu only: Mokuleia, Waialua, Haleiwa, Sunset Beach, Kahuku. Food boxes are delivered after an individual calls and requests a box. A recipient must call every time they need a food box. Our goal is to deliver the box within a week of a call, though we have been behind due to increased requests. Recipients can expect to receive one food box a month. This is an all volunteer charity and we deliver food boxes as volunteers are available. If someone has an emergency need for food, we will get a box to them immediately. No on site distribution.
