(EFNEP) Assists families with limited income to plan low-cost, simple, healthy meals. Families learn to shop wisely, stretch their food dollars and resources, and keep foods safe. Homemakers meet in groups with the Nutrition Program Assistant community sites. Meets weekly or bi-weekly (twice a month). Groups arranged by collaborating agencies.

Food donations are accepted at Hale Kau Kau. Hale Kau Kau program serves dinner meals on-site to those who do not have the resources for basic food. Hale Kau Kau delivers dinner meals every day to homebound persons (seniors, people with disabilities, etc.)

Operates camp and conference center for children and adults. The camp provides high quality facilities and programs which foster leadership and service in the Christian community.

Individuals 60 years and older, or who have a disability, or special medical need can register with Kauai Island Utility Cooperative (KIUC) for special handling prior to disconnection of service, and for additional notifications in the event of an emergency.

Kealia Pond is a National Wildlife Refuge that is home to native and endangered Hawaiian waterbirds. No dogs or pets allowed.

(Maui Second Circuit Self Help Center Hoapili Hale) The Maui Court Self-Help Center will provide legal help to the community on a pilot basis. Volunteer attorneys from the Maui County Bar Association will provide limited legal information by telephone in areas such as landlord-tenant, family, and other district court matters. Access by telephone for Molokai, Lanai and Hana residents only when the center is open. The Center does not accept voice messages. Court Navigators for Lanaʻi, Maui, and Molokaʻi are now available by email In 2018, an in-person Volunteer Court Navigator Program was established in the Second Circuit (Maui County). Volunteer Court Navigators assisted unrepresented individuals at Hoapili Hale by answering questions concerning court resources, locations, and procedures. Note: Volunteer Court Navigators cannot provide legal advice or representation. The Volunteer Court Navigator Program has expanded to include services by email. Unrepresented persons can now submit requests for information to: [email protected] The Navigators will make every effort to respond to requests for information pertaining to cases in the Second Circuit (Lanaʻi, Maui, Molokaʻi) within one business day, although it may sometimes take longer to obtain the information necessary to respond to requests for information.

(Kapahulu Senior Center) Kapahulu Center provides a community-based center offering a variety of classes and activities including but not limited to dancing, singing, exercise, crafting, Japanese culture, health and finance, and special activities.

(AOP) Alana Ola Pono Kauhale will have 43 tiny units (5 wheelchair accessible). All participants will have access to the Institute for Human Services' (IHS) supportive services and programs: health services, employment services, case management, and housing navigation. Single persons and couples may be eligible. 2 pets may be eligible to be in the Kauhale as well.

(VLA) The VLA project focuses on disabled and elderly veterans and family members who are residents of the state of Hawaii and who want assistance with filing benefits claims with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Also offers referrals to volunteer attorneys through VLSH's pro bono program for legal advice and direct services for: Family Law, Tenant Rights, Collections and Bankruptcy, Estate Planning/Probate, Re-Employment and Community Service Program (Oahu only).

(Hale Ho'ola Hamakua) Operates 50-bed facility, which provides intermediate care nursing, skilled nursing, laboratory work, and x-rays. Provides acute care services.

Offers job orientation and information, counseling. Arranges placement, follow-up and support group meetings. Provides job coaching and follow-up services.

Analyzes soil and plant tissue, diagnoses plant diseases, identifies insects, and analyzes feed. Assists with crop recommendations. Provides information and recommendations on backyard and garden weeds. Provides plant insect control advice. Accepts reports of plant disease problems.

Provides social detoxification services for adults who are intoxicated or withdrawing from alcohol and/or drug dependency. Services include assessment and care plan, monitoring of vital signs, counseling, case management, addiction/health education and referral to treatment.

Provides classes for juveniles on probation with an opportunity to learn about the emotional, physical, psychological and financial impact their crimes have on victims and to accept responsibility for their harmful actions. The goal is to hold the offender accountable and to develop empathy for their victims.

Provides pre-hospital emergency medical and ambulance services at the Advanced Life Support Level to all residents and visitors on Molokai. Transports patient to airport when needed. Offers blood pressure testing, speakers bureau, ambulance demonstrations and standby service for special events.
