Eligibility

Juveniles on probation in the Fifth Judicial Circuit. Juveniles who repeatedly victimize the community.

Application process

The probation officer obtains consent from juvenile parent/guardian to release contact information and offense category to Hale `Opio, who contacts the parent/guardian to provide program information and schedule classes.

Provides classes for juveniles on probation with an opportunity to learn about the emotional, physical, psychological and financial impact their crimes have on victims and to accept responsibility for their harmful actions. The goal is to hold the offender accountable and to develop empathy for their victims.
