Emphasis is placed on individual choice, allowing adults to pursue opportunities that match their interests and skills while promoting their dignity and independence. The program provides daily respite for individual and family caregivers as well as provides participants with educational, social, health and recreational opportunities. ADH participants have a full-range of activities to choose from including: the option to go on daily excursions, enjoy art programs, volunteer in the community, attend computer classes with the aid of assistive technology, learn money skills, participate in weekly hula classes or give back to the community through recycling programs. Provides developmentally appropriate play activities for hospitalized children. Conducts pre-operative tours to minimize stress and anxiety for child/family related to illness, hospitalization or medical encounters. Coordinates volunteer activities in playroom. Conducts interventions to prevent emotional trauma. Available to all patients.

Provides home care services to homebound patients: skilled nursing, occupational therapy, medical social services, home health aides, physical therapy and speech therapy. Offers intravenous therapy (i.e., fluids, antibiotics, nutritional fluids), wound care, teaching patient and/or family member appropriate skills to care for self or patient. Aides assist with bathing, ambulation, feeding, light housekeeping.

ISG offers an array of support services and product sales (assistive technology) for people who are blind or experience low vision, are deaf or are hard of hearing, or have a speech disability. ISG is a local distributor for many key mainland manufacturers of high and low technology such as desktop and portable video magnifiers, screen reading computer programs, and many other low vision aids. ISG sells and services assistive listening and alerting devices such as FM listening systems and telephone/doorbell alerting systems. ISG conducts assessment with people with disabilities to evaluate their need for assistive technology that can aid in one's productivity for independent living or employment. ISG coordinates services from a fully accessible, model home in Honolulu where an array of technology is on display for people to "try before you buy". ISG hosts the Assistive Technology User Group meetings.

(TRY, TRY Center, Community Teen Program - Puuwai Momi) Parents And Children Together's Community's Tenacious Rooted Youth (TRY) Centers in Kuhio Park Terrace and Puuwai Momi public housing provides comprehensive development programs for youths who live in and around the housing complexes. After school programs promote the development of youth, families, and communities by providing educational activities and experiences including STEM projects, sports and recreation, community service, skill building, and support services. Programs support the growth and development of our youth by teaching leadership and life skills and encouraging positive experiences as alternatives to drugs and gangs. TRY Center activities are free and open to family residents of public housing complexes in the respective areas. Opens at 1:30pm on Wednesdays during the school year. Extended hours offered during summer and school intersessions. Intake form is good for 1 year.

(Ohana Finding) Family Finding is a process designed to identify, locate and engage family members of children and youth who are in foster care. Family Finding utilizes database case mining and internet searches to identify and locate family and other possible relatives. Individuals who are identified as possible relatives are verified via phone contact and/or letters, and names of confirmed family members are compiled onto maternal and paternal family lists. These lists are then submitted to Child Welfare Services (CWS), the GAL, and the EPIC Ohana Conference coordinator or the Ohana Connections specialist to assist them in engaging relatives to help care for, provide support for, or reconnect to the child in care.
