Provides an array of family skill building, child abuse and neglect prevention services within the Kalihi. Both Centers offer information and referral. Both Family Centers focus on parents, school and community involvement to work together to improve academic achievement for children. (North Shore Food Bank) North Shore Food Bank provides a walk up or drive through food distribution at Kaiaka Bay beach park. Additional community services include help with community health servies, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application help, and other information for person who may be houseless. Provides information on immediate care of an animal of any type in distress as well as the closest place you can take it to be cared for. We do not have a licensed veterinarian on premises and do appreciate any donation help if you can afford it but there is no fee for any service we provide, no matter what it costs us to get help.

(Crime Stoppers) Provides law enforcement, criminal investigation and crime prevention. Investigates accidents and provides traffic control. Registers firearms. Accepts information on missing persons. HPD does not handle driver's licensing or motor vehicle registration, abandoned vehicles or safety inspections (these are provided by Department of Finance, Motor Vehicle & Licensing Division).

Early Head Start (EHS) provides comprehensive services for families prenatal until the child is 3 years old. Maui Famiy Support Services (MFSS EHS) promotes early childhood education and development by using evidence based curriculum that promotes healthy development and "school readiness" goals. MFSS EHS program focused on family strengths while building and sustaining goals to promote healthy living. MFSS EHS provides both center based option and also weekly Home Visiting services. All Early Head Start services are free of charge for families who meet the eligibility criteria.

(MEO) Reviews credit reports with individuals and provides tips and resources on how to improve credit scores. The program also discusses issues affecting small business owners and helps to find solutions to problems.

You can visit the website to create an IRS account where you can check your refund status, view tax records, for payments and notifications. You can use the Refund tracker to view the status of your refund without making an IRS account. Your Social Security Number, tax year, your filing status, and the refund amount as shown on your tax return is required to use the Refund tracker. The website also contains information on tax forms and how to file your taxes. Your taxes may be filed for free via the IRS Free File or Free File Fillable Forms may be used. Information is also available on tax fraud and identity theft. Visit the website to report a tax fraud or scam, repot a fake IRS message or call, report stolen Social Security number (SSN), individual tax identification number (ITIN) or employer identification number (EIN), or file a complaint on a tax return preparer.

Our mission is to promote, support and expand quality and professionalism in early childhood programs and services for Hawaii's young children (birth - 8 years old) and their families.
