(VASH, Travelers Aid of Honolulu) The mission of Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii (VASH) is to share Aloha with visitors who have been victims of a crime or other adversities, and to provide follow-up assistance and support in an effort to create a positive memory of their stay in our islands. The type of assistance provided varies on a case by case basis. Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii offers assistance and support through information and referrals, emergency ground transportation, and resources for meals and lodging. Assistance is also provided with changes to travel plans and for emotional support. We do not pay for airline tickets, hotel stays, medical or dental expenses, and funeral expenses.

Provides a broad range of activities covering the recreational, social, cultural, health and educational needs and interests of the elderly. Call for specific program schedules and sites.

Maintains professional organization serving 1,800 physicians. Provides continuing medical education and evaluation of medical care. Participates in community health education and health screening projects.

(Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Ka 'Ohana Kitchen) Ka Ohana Kitchen serves a free meal to anyone who comes on a first come, first served basis every Sunday at 12:30 pm in the back of the parish hall. Teams of cooks take turns to prepare the meal. Under current restrictions, boxed meals and water are handed out without social contact.

(Alanon Family Group Kauai, Alateen Kauai) Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship of those who feel their lives have been deeply affected by someone else’s drinking.
