Girl Scouts' leadership development program builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The designers at E-nable offer their assistance and design skills at no cost to aid those that would like to DIY (do it yourself) one of these devices and has numerous members that are willing to take on individual cases to help custom design around different shaped hands or needs.

Provides recorded messages regarding recycling programs available on all islands. Refers callers to various recycling groups, sites and programs. Coordinates Hawaii Materials Exchange which allows companies and individuals to list unwanted or extra materials and supplies that they will donate or trade. Maintains lists of needed materials and supplies. Encourages general public such as non-profit agencies to actively utilize the supply lists to meet their needs and reduce costs of obtaining new equipment. Input and retrieval accessible by modem.

(SWCC Free store) The free store is a community resource that offers clothing, household items, and other essentials at no cost. Each registered participant can shop once a month. Monthly schedule is subject to change. Call to confirm.

(DHHL Kupuna Rental Subsidy Program, Kupuna Rental Subsidy Program) The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) and the Hawaiian Council program to help eligible kupuna on the DHHL waitlist pay rent. Renters pay up to 30% of their total household income towards rent and the program may help with the remaining cost. Up to 12 months of rent subsidies with the option to renew based on available funds.

(Youth Shelter, Youth Shelter - Maui) Provides 24-hour emergency shelter for youth 10 - 17 years. Offers individual, family and group counseling. Provides substance abuse prevention, educational services, including tutoring, transportation to the public schools and GED preparation. Organizes cultural, recreational and community activities. Provides after care follow-up to youth and their families returning to a home situation. Provides case management services for independent clients.

(Goodwill Surplus Store) Goodwill Industries of Hawaii operates a thrift store selling low cost furniture, household goods, toys, and more. Proceeds benefit vocational training programs for individuals with employment barriers.

Provides information and referral services to Hawaiians. Offers clients a "one-stop shop" for health and human service resources and links clients with appropriate agency services.

(Maui Employment Services, ESLPR, ESLIP) Goodwill Industries of Hawaii provides employment services for people with barriers to employment, persons with low-income, and immigrants. Services include assessment, job readiness training, job placement and retention, vocational training referral and assistance.

Maintains a sanitary and healthful environment through prevention, inspection, education, and enforcement activities. Inspects food and food service establishments, milk plants, frozen dessert manufacturing plants, dairy farms, hotels and other multi-dwelling units, adult family care homes, intermediate care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, public swimming pools, barber and beauty shops, mortuaries, embalmers, tattoo parlors and artists, massage parlors and other general public health nuisances.
