(Beretania Park) Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. Provides water to consumers on Lanai.

Provides consumer loans to assist Hawaii residents build credit, repair credit, pay off debt or address financial or housing emergencies. All borrowers receive individualized financial counseling. Hawaiian Community Assets does the financial counseling.

Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs provides trained service dogs to people with disabilities other than blindness in Hawaii, as well as related education to the community. In order to minimize expenses, we do not have a formal office location. We have our dogs live in homes of our puppy raiser volunteers around Oahu and on the Big Island. We do have a formal kennel location in Pupukea, on the North Shore of Oahu.
