(Food Pantry) Aiea Seventh Day Adventist Church provides food boxes for families in need as well as clean used clothing as needed. We provide grooming supplies as well.

(American Cancer Society Cancer Survivors Network, American Cancer Society I Can Cope Class, American Cancer Society Look Good Feel Better, American Cancer Society Look Good/Feel Better, American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery) Reach To Recovery: Trained volunteers who are breast cancer survivors provide emotional and educational support for women who are facing or have had breast cancer surgery. Cancer Survivors Network: Online community created for survivors and caregivers to connect with others, visit www.cancer.org Gift Items: A limited supply of wigs, hats, turbans, scarves and breast prostheses are available by appointment. These items are received by the local offices by donations from others and through our TLC Catalog. Support Groups: The office is a clearinghouse of information on local self-help and support groups that provide emotional and educational help. Patients and caregivers also are invited to visit the Cancer Survivors' Network at www.cancer.org . Relay For Life: You are invited to attend Relay For Life, our annual event to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and give everyone the opportunity to fight back against cancer. Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

City and County of Honolulu Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) provides a Rebuild Donation Match Registry. Step 1: Submit a Request. Residents and business owners with storm damage can submit a description of their needs, including required repairs and specific materials or services. Step 2: Eligibility Review. DPP will verify requests based on official damage assessment reports to ensure resources reach those most affected. Step 3: Register as a Donor. Individuals and businesses can sign up to donate specific quantities of materials or offer volunteer time. Step 4: The Match. Once a match is identified, DPP will notify both parties to initiate the connection. Please note: -No Guarantee of Assistance. Submission of a request does not guarantee that materials or services will be provided. Assistance depends on available donations. -Permits are Required. Participation in the registry does not waive standard building permit requirements. Property owners must ensure all necessary permits are obtained before work begins. -Licensed Work required. Under Hawaii law, work requiring a licensed contractor must still be performed by a properly licensed professional. -Independent Agreements made. All arrangements regarding the transfer of materials or performance of work are made solely between the donor and the recipient. (TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. Visit the website and click on the "Kona Low Storms Disaster Recovery" link to request a disaster case manager, submit a damage report, explore financial assistance options, and explore housing options like a request temporary housing for those whose homes were damaged by the Kona Low on March 2026. Kahuku was the site of the first Rainbow School and has been operating continuously since 1972. We serve approximately 65 children ranging in age from 2 years to 5 years old. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii and all staff meet state licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. Please contact the Center Director directly to set up a visit.

Pa'a Hana, located in Kapaa, is a residential home for homeless adults with physical challenge.

Pre-treatment, residential, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment as well as continuing care services for adults. Also provides a Family Education Program, topics include ways to intervene, recognizing the destructive nature of enabling, and learning about what options are available for family and friends of persons addicted to alcohol and/or drugs.Psychiatric Services, Case Management, Peer Mentoring, Offender Re-Entry.

(Alzheimers Related Disease Respite) Provides respite care for persons with Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other related disabilities. May accept incontinent patients. Does not administer medications. All involved people bring their own lunch.

(Hawaii Homeownership Center - Honolulu Office) The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center's (HHOC) lifetime membership prepares buyers for the home purchase through classes and individual coaching. Classes address the general concepts about preparing for homeownership and the buying process; individual coaching provides support to identify buyer resources and create an action plan to become mortgage ready. Support after our members become homeowners is available through workshops and confidential meetings.

Lanai Kinaole provides home health services like specialty wound care, administration and management of medication(s) in the client’s home environment, including but not limited to intravenous (IV) medications administration, lab/blood collection, health monitoring, support with basic activities and functions referred to as Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL).

State of Hawaii Department of Defense's Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA) has a website with information on signing up for emergency alerts and what radio stations to listen to for more information. McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA) - Maui Campus provides adults with basic, remedial, and continuing education opportunities. Our programs include English Language Acquisition (ELA), Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), Workforce Development Diploma (WDD), High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation, and DOE Support classes. We are an official GED and HiSET test center.

The Academy for Healthcare Innovation (AHI) Nurse Aide Program provides a comprehensive introduction to the foundational skills and knowledge required to provide basic care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on labs and clinical experience. During the eight week program, you will learn how to: -Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing and eating -Take vital signs, monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals

(Sexual Abuse Treatment Services) Provides comprehensive services for families and individuals who have experienced sexual abuse within the family. Services are provided to child and adult victims, non-offending partners, alleged juvenile and adult offenders, and siblings. Treatment is provided through individual, dyad, family therapy and an extensive group program. The various components of the program are designed to reinforce each other for more comprehensive treatment. Provides group counseling, individual counseling, mother-daughter counseling, couples counseling, and family counseling services for victims of incest, their siblings, non-offending parents, and offenders.

Private school includes grades K-12 for boys and girls.

Recruits businesses, firehouses, agencies, etc. in the community as Safe Places, identified by easily recognized yellow and black diamond shaped signs. Any youth can go to a Safe Place for help. A trained worker at the Safe Place will talk to the youth to determine the immediate problem and act in the youth's behalf.
