Habitat for Humanity Maui follows the principals of Habitat for Humanity International by selling homes to low income families at a no interest and no profit basis. They serve families that are between 25% and 80% of the median income for Maui County. Families are required to attend homeowner education classes, budget counseling and credit counseling. Habitat for Humanity Maui’s ReStore accepts donations of new and slightly used construction/ remodeling materials and resells them to the general public at 50% or below retail. The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. (Food Pantry) Full Gospel Church of Oahu provides food to the needy, poor, homeless or sick people.

(Kauikeaouli Hale Access to Justice Room) The Honolulu District Court Access to Justice Room will provide legal help to the Oahu community on a pilot basis. Volunteer attorneys from the Hawaii State Bar Association will provide limited legal information by telephone in areas such as landlord-tenant, family, and other district court matters.

North Shore Mental Health provides services to clients in adult behavioral and mental health. Programs include: Community Based Case Management, PAB, ADAD, and our Leahi medical respite program.

(Saint Jude Catholic Church Outreach, St Jude Catholic Church Outreach) Saint Jude Catholic Church Food Pantry provides canned and dry foods. Does not provide any financial assistance. Each client can only use the food pantry twice a month. Tickets are passed out at Tuesday 1:00 pm.

Provides weekly Tutu Support Group that includes counseling, advocacy, information and referral, education and training. Program is for grandparents who are raising or caring for their grandchildren. Agency also umbrellas an outrigger canoe paddling program for youth 10 years and up, and adults. Oldest adult paddling with program is 83 years old.
