Applications ("apps") designed for smartphones, tablet computers, watches, and other devices that assist with turn-by-turn navigation focused on improving connections between transportation systems and the first or last mile of a route; including navigation within buildings and on large campuses or attractions. These apps may focus on travel planning and accessibility for people living with visual, hearing, cognitive, and mobility disabilities. Examples of app capabilities include navigating what routes are wheelchair accessible, visual and audio navigation instructions, and other accessibility filters such as finding wheelchair-friendly toilets and parking spaces.
