Programs that specialize in providing therapeutic interventions that focus on meeting the complex needs, problems, and concerns of vulnerable children who have experienced adversity, early harm, neglect, toxic stress, and/or trauma. The treatment model addresses the difficulties these children experience in trusting the parents and caregivers in their lives through the three principles of connection to understand and meet attachment needs, empowerment to address physical needs, and correction of fear based behavioral needs. These principals work towards building an environment of physical, social, and psychological safety which results in building and strengthening secure attachments between children and their parents or caregivers.
