Individuals who own, manage or work on farms where reptiles such as snakes and tortoises are bred and raised for exhibition, preservation, meat, venom and/or skins. Duties may include feeding and watering the animals according to an appropriate schedule for the species; examining the animals for signs of illness, injury or parasites and administering prescribed treatment; cleaning animal pens; and, where applicable, extracting venom from live snakes.
