Programs that help nonprofit organizations, small businesses and other groups conduct an assessment of their telecommunications needs, and select and implement automated attendant software that allows people who call to listen to a menu and, using voice or touchtone commands, select and listen to prerecorded information or be routed to the individual, department, branch office or other destination they choose. Automated attendants (also referred to as menu driven systems) are distinguished by the number of programs they can support, the number of tiers of information available for each program, the total number of tiers permitted, room for system expansion, the difficulty level in programming and/or using the system, availability of training, and maintenance and support arrangements.
