Motorcycle racing events that feature paid professional riders. Included are drag racing events, top fuel bike racing events, stock bike racing events, road racing events and motocross or supercross events (closed-course races over natural or simulated rough terrain with steep inclines, hairpin turns, and/or mud). Sanctioning organizations include the American Motorcycle Association, the Professional Motorcycle Racing Association, the American Drag Bike Association and other smaller professional associations. Included are organizations that sponsor, organize, hold, promote, sell tickets to and publicize the events; provide information about race schedules; and/or maintain information about current standings.
